In-Home Detox

The Experience

Detox is a deeply personal process, and at Solace Home Detox, we believe it should take place in a setting that prioritizes privacy, comfort, and dignity. Our approach is centered on creating an experience that feels supportive, seamless, and highly personalized—delivered where you feel safest: at home.

We serve individuals who may prefer to detox privately for a variety of reasons. For some, it’s about remaining in a familiar space surrounded by comforts. For others, it’s the need to stay near family, work, or other responsibilities. We also support clients waiting for placement in a treatment facility, or those whose long-term care provider does not offer detox services.

From the first phone call through completion of detox, our team works closely with a licensed physician who manages the medical oversight. A Solace care professional is present in the home throughout the detox, offering around-the-clock monitoring, coordination, and support to ensure your comfort and safety.

Whether you’re stepping away from long-term substance use or preparing for residential care, our goal is to make the detox experience one of steadiness, care, and clarity. We handle the logistics, ensure consistent communication, and remain present every step of the way so that you can focus fully on healing.

Our Process

We aim to make the admissions and detox process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. Here’s what to expect:

1. Initial Consultation

Your journey begins with a confidential call. During this conversation, we gather information about your health history, current substance use, and home environment to determine whether in-home detox is appropriate for you.

2. Physician Review & Plan

Our partnering physician conducts a remote medical assessment. If in-home detox is clinically appropriate, the physician develops a detox plan tailored to your specific needs, including any medications prescribed for symptom relief.

We coordinate the logistics of your detox, including travel and accommodations for our team, the delivery of any necessary supplies, and a schedule for care. We also help prepare your home to ensure a safe and calming environment.

6. Transition Planning

Once detox is complete, we provide recommendations and referrals for next-step support, whether that’s residential treatment, outpatient care, or long-term recovery planning. Our team can remain involved for continuity and transition support, depending on your needs.

Every step is handled with professionalism, compassion, and discretion—so you can focus on what matters most: taking the first step forward.
