How do I begin the process?
Start by reaching out through our website or calling directly. We’ll schedule a confidential consultation to learn more about your needs and determine whether in-home detox is the right fit. If it is, we’ll move quickly to schedule your start date.
How long does detox take?
The duration depends on several factors, including the substance(s) used, how long you’ve been using, and your overall health. Most detoxes last between 5–7 days, but some may take longer. We’ll provide a more specific estimate after your assessment.
Is detox at home safe?
When properly supported by experienced professionals, in-home detox is a safe and effective alternative to inpatient care. Each client is continuously monitored, and care plans are tailored to ensure stability and comfort.
Will someone be with me the entire time?
Yes. You will have a detox specialist present 24/7 during your detox. Our team rotates every 12 hours to ensure seamless, round-the-clock care.
What does the detox process look like?
We begin with a private pre-assessment to evaluate your needs. From there, a personalized care plan is created, and our team provides constant monitoring and support throughout your detox. Medication management is included when appropriate.
Do you work with people anywhere in the U.S.?
Yes. Solace Home Detox is available nationwide. We bring our services to you, wherever you are.
How much does it cost?
We are a private-pay service. Pricing is dependent on location, complexity, and duration of care. We’re happy to discuss fees transparently during the consultation.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance. However, we can provide documentation for those who would like to seek reimbursement directly from their insurance provider.
What happens after detox?
We’ll help ensure you’re supported beyond detox. Whether it’s connecting with a therapist, outpatient care, or another resource, we’ll help guide your next steps.
Can I work or attend meetings during detox?
In some cases, yes. However, this is highly individual and depends on the severity of withdrawal and safety considerations. We’ll discuss this during your consultation.
Can my family be involved?
Yes. Family involvement can be helpful for some clients, but it’s not required. We assess each home environment and help determine what level of privacy and support is best.
Should my home be free of alcohol or substances?
Yes. We ask that the environment be as free of triggering substances as possible to reduce risk and support your success.
What happens if I change my mind mid-detox?
We understand this process can be difficult. Our team will support you in re-evaluating the plan and determining what steps make the most sense from both a care and safety perspective.
What medications are used during detox?
Medication protocols vary depending on your history, needs, and comfort level. Our medical team will guide all prescribing decisions, with your input.
Can I modify my detox plan as we go?
Yes. Your care team regularly evaluates your status and will adjust the plan as needed to ensure your comfort and safety.
